As part of the ECT 510 class requirements, I joined the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). Shortly after I joined the organization, they sent me an email offering me a free solar powered charger. I thought it sounded interesting, so I said yes to their offer.
Well, guess what I got today in the mail.
I even tested it out and it works on my iPhone. I think it's pretty neat so far. Just thought I would share my new toy.

Learned Something NEW =)
I observed one of the Algebra I teachers at my school today, who was using technology in her classroom. She was going to have her students log into www.studyisland.com, but the website was having difficulty with its server. As a back up plan, she had her student go to www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra instead. I had never heard about this website before today and thought I would share it. It has 'how to' videos on several Algebra concepts.
