Hello Everyone,

Welcome to The Mentor Spot.
 
I am currently trying to design a blog that can be used as a teacher mentoring tool for the math department, since my school still has not instituted a mentoring program for new or first-time teachers.  This mentoring blog will hopefully include a weekly post from each teacher of what's going on in their classes (trouble their experiencing, happy thoughts, etc.), links for extra resources, "how to" videos for using technology in the classroom, etc.  I am not sure how effective this blog will be, but I believe it will be better than having no mentor at all.

My Car Accident

I was in a car accident on 3/13/12.  I totaled my car and shattered my right ankle.  I have about twenty screws and two plates in my ankle.  I had two surgeries, was laid up for 6 months, had to do a lot of physical therapy, and started walking again August 2012.  I'm actually doing pretty well considering.
